Privacy Policy

The short version

ShareMyBill is built to keep your data with you. There are no ads, no analytics trackers, and your invoice data is never sold or shared with third parties.

Web app data

When you use the web app without signing in, everything — your business details, customer lists, drafts and generated invoices — is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded.

Optional account (cloud sync)

If you create a free account, your invoices sync to a secure Supabase database so you can access them across devices and share invoice links. We store only the information you enter in the app. Your password is never visible to us; sign-in is handled by Supabase authentication (email/password or Google).

Desktop app data

The Windows desktop app runs fully offline. All invoices and settings are stored in a local SQLite database in your Documents folder (Documents\BillingApp). Nothing leaves your computer. The desktop app has its own on-device sign-in system and needs no account.

What we do not do

• We do not display ads.
• We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
• We do not sell, rent or share your data.
• We do not read your invoices for anything other than making the service work.

Cookies & storage

We use browser local storage and Supabase's session storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the app grows. Material changes will be noted here with a new date above.
